The cornerstone of the wesoła high school
Today the cornerstone-laying ceremony took place for the first public general secondary school in the Wesoła district of Warsaw.
At the dedication act, signatures were placed by the Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski,
Deputy Mayor of Warsaw Renata Kaznowska, Vice-Chairwoman of the Warsaw City Council
Magdalena Roguska, Vice-Chairman of the Warsaw City Council Sławomir Potapowicz,
Mayor of the Wesoła District Marian Mahor, Chairman of the Wesoła District Council Marcin Jędrzejewski,
Director of CLXIII High School in Warsaw Izabela Nowacka, Chairman of the Parents’ Council of CLXIII High School Marcin Kiciński,
Chairwoman of the Student Government of CLXIII High School Zuzanna Tomczyk, Architect Katarzyna Głażewska,
and President of Rembud Ltd., Robert Fronczka.
The ceremony was solemn, yet at the same time very joyful (in Wesoła it could be no other way).
The optimism and energy of all those who fought for the establishment and later the construction of
CLXIII High School captivated us. We are convinced that with such a team,
the new high school will quickly build its position among the already recognised institutions.
As an interesting fact, this is the first high school to be built in Warsaw in 20 years.
