Property Design Awards 2026 prize

The Music Academy in Bydgoszcz has received an award in the Property Design Awards 2026 competition in the category Design – Interiors: Public Buildings.

We are particularly pleased that the interiors were recognized—because they were both one of the greatest challenges and the very heart of the entire project. The campus of the Music Academy in Bydgoszcz had to reconcile two seemingly contradictory goals: to bring all the university’s functions together in one place, while at the same time ensuring silence and excellent acoustic conditions for every music room.

The new building accommodates more than one hundred practice and teaching rooms, auditoriums, a library, recording studios, a Dolby Studio, student residences, and above all four concert halls: symphonic, opera, chamber, and organ halls. It is an exceptionally complex project—functionally, technically, and spatially.

We received the award during the gala held as part of 4 Design Days.
