VIII east design days

During the 8th East Design Days, we had the pleasure of giving a lecture introducing key issues related to acoustics.

As part of the EDD, on the second day (21 November 2025), we presented the lecture “The Architecture of Sound.”

We focused on the topic of acoustics in music spaces, discussing one of our projects: the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. We showed how architecture - from spatial layout and choice of materials, to proper ventilation and finishing details, influences sound quality, acoustic comfort, and the experience of both audiences and musicians.

We presented the acoustic solutions used in the Academy, demonstrating that the idea of a “building-instrument” is not just a metaphor, a well-designed space can truly “play.”
