the first exhibit is already in the museum!

7 June 2021

After a short stay in the shipyard “SPA” in Gdynia, where the GDY-18 fishing boat, called the Cucumber, had several minor operations and a facelift ;), the largest exhibit of the Museum of Underwater Archeology and Baltic Fishing, moored in the target port on our Łeba construction site. What a precise and difficult operation it was!

Everything happened over a long weekend, from 4th to 7th June, providing many impressions to tourists and Łeba residents who watched with curiosity these highly precise actions. The team, working on the site, was impressive! Everything went according to plan. Now we just wait for the finishing the construction around … 😉

As a curiosity, we can say that, according to the information of the National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk, the transport and placement of the vessel-exhibit at the construction site was probably the largest operation of this type in the world! Wow! Were there agents of the Guinness Book of Records in Łeba?
