The design of the public high school in the Wesoła district was developed with the aim of creating a cost-effective, yet spacious and functional building that harmoniously blends into the surrounding pine landscape. The architecture of the school is based on a clear and disciplined composition of volumes that organize the space in a legible way while maintaining an appropriate scale and aesthetic balance.

A strong emphasis was placed on ensuring acoustic comfort and providing natural light for the interiors. Classrooms are oriented according to the cardinal directions: mainly to the east and west, with the exception of computer labs located on the northern side. Large windows equipped with external blinds protect the rooms from overheating, while interior finishes made of natural materials such as pine plywood and wood wool give the spaces a warm and welcoming character.

The auditorium is the center of the building, a space of raw yet distinctive character. Its external volume is finished with concrete imprinted with an OSB board texture, emphasizing a modern, minimalist aesthetic and giving the interior a strong identity. The auditorium’s interior features wood and OSB panel cladding, ensuring optimal acoustic conditions and a friendly atmosphere for school events and gatherings.

Glazed classroom entrances and wide corridors serve as galleries, encouraging integration and flexible forms of learning and collaboration. Inside the building, an internal patio provides a recreational and relaxing space for students.
