It’s Official! The Contract Is Signed!

Today is the day!

Following our competition win at the end of July and a brief round of negotiations, we have officially signed an agreement with the City of Olsztyn to design the new home of the Olsztyn Puppet Theatre.

We are absolutely thrilled and full of positive energy! It has been a long time since we experienced such an outpouring of enthusiasm and positive emotions from our Client’s representatives. Our meeting in Olsztyn was truly exceptional in this respect and a very promising start to our future collaboration!

We are delighted and ready to get straight to work, developing our competition-winning concept in line with the post-competition guidelines.

The theatre will be located on Tadeusza Mazowieckiego Street, next to Urania Arena, the Planetarium and Central Park. From the very beginning, our vision was to create a building that would not be a closed-off venue, but an integral part of urban life and the everyday routes of the city’s residents.

The building will not interrupt the flow of a walk through the park. On the contrary, it is designed to blend naturally into its surroundings and invite people inside. The open foyer will play a particularly important role, serving as a space for meetings, workshops and events — a place that remains vibrant and welcoming even when there are no performances.

The new theatre will accommodate two independent stages, as well as state-of-the-art facilities required to support one of Olsztyn’s most important cultural institutions.

We are excited to take our concept further and create a place that will inspire and accompany generations of young audiences for many years to come.
