revitalization of the Mińska Tenement Houses Begins!
New Residential Project on Mińska Street in Warsaw
In June, we signed the contract and commenced work on a new project involving the adaptive reuse of two residential buildings on Mińska Street in Warsaw. The project will transform the existing buildings, listed in the municipal heritage register, into modern residential spaces while preserving their architectural character and heritage value.
This is another commission entrusted to our practice by the City of Warsaw, represented by the Property Management Department of the Praga-Południe District. We are pleased to once again contribute to a project that plays an important role in the ongoing revitalisation of Warsaw's urban fabric.
Mińska Street and the neighbouring Soho Factory complex form one of the most distinctive areas of Warsaw's Praga-Południe district. Its post-industrial character, preserved historic buildings and ongoing regeneration efforts provide a unique context for contemporary architecture.
The project is another addition to the plus3-architekci portfolio in which we work with existing historic buildings. Our aim is to preserve and highlight their architectural value while adapting them to contemporary standards and the needs of future residents.
We look forward to sharing further updates as the project progresses.
