opening of the artistic season at the Bydgoszcz Academy of Music

In the evening, there was a remarkable concert by Rafał Blechacz — pianist, graduate of the Bydgoszcz Academy of Music,
and winner of the 1st prize at the 15th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw
and Bomsori Kim - the violinist.

We had the pleasure of speaking with him briefly and asked about his impressions of the acoustics in the new halls. He replied with a smile:

"Here, it’s excellent. And intimate — superb!"

It’s hard to imagine a more beautiful compliment.

That evening, Rafał Blechacz was also awarded the gold medal “Gloria Artis for Merit to Culture”!

May this be the beginning of a long and harmonious dialogue between architecture and music — and a new sound for Bydgoszcz.
